My outfit today was pretty cool - I realize I'm starting to get into a rut of wearing black pants/skirt and my black shrug together a lot, so today I swapped out the shrug for a black poncho. I like it.

curly curly curly
I did pincurls in my hair yesterday after taking a mid-afternoon shower, leaving them in until this morning and boy did they take! Check it out:

Until I read that was a poncho, I was thinking "what sort of strange metallic shirt is that? I've never seen it before in Jen's closet...oh, durr, it's a poncho over a colorful shirt in the sun. Durr." Which is all to say, I like it, and the big hair. I was just easily confused.

Pincurls aren't hard at all! This tutorial is wonderful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjbC6MK0zJ8&feature=channel - it only takes me about 15 minutes to do my whole head. I find that putting a bit of mouse into my damp hair and then doing the curls and sleeping in them overnight (I tie a smooth scarf around my head so they don't get frizzy during the night) gives me curls that last for at least 2 days!
